Conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth. Many people strive for problem-free successes. Unfortunately, there is no top position without problems. In fact, ability to solve problems is the basis for promotion to a top managerial position. Managers are paid to solve problems. As a manager or supervisor, your problem will be multiplied by the number of people you are supervising in addition to the problems associated with their work. Unless you are able to deal with all these diverse problems, you may not be able to advance in your managerial career. It is no good getting furious if you get stuck on a particular problem. Keep thinking about the problem but work on something else.

Worth mentioning is that problems are not the problem, but the ability to cope. Managers are advised not to be afraid growing slowly but be afraid of standing still. They should not stress the could haves, if it should have, it would have.

Many people covet the rewards and power associated with being a leader but hate the difficulties, irritations, troubles and frustrations associated with it. Problems are what give us the opportunity to succeed, that is why intelligent people welcome problems as a chance to show their capabilities.

Growth occurs when individuals confront problems, struggle to master them, and through the struggle develop new aspects of their skills capacities and view about life.
