– Napoleon Hill
Human beings have the capability to do extraordinary things if they are not limited. Some managers erroneously think that people hate work and so set minimal goals for them. What they get in return is ordinary results.
Individual abilities in the organization should not be underestimated, but rather challenged by giving them the liberty to set goals for themselves. Allowing employees set goals that prompts them to ask themselves- “what would I do if I were the owner of the company?” This kind of question leads to tough and positive attitude towards work. It also leads to an entrepreneurial mentality among employees.
