A day of worry is more than a day of work.
– John Lubbock
Tension relates to how we feel about our situation.Sometimes it is not the load that breaks us down.It is the way we carry it. Most times, the tension we experience at the place of work are not caused by the job itself but as a result of poor interpersonal relationship, lack of inter- and intra- group support, fear of making mistakes, lack of teamwork spirit, seeing others as competitors rather than collaborators.
To overcome tension at work, everyone should be treated as important. Employees shouldn’t be castigated for making honest mistakes and a culture of collaboration and teamwork must be developed in the workplace .
We need to let go of what we are so as to become what we want to be.
People and automobiles are very much alike. Some are right at home racing up the hills; others run smoothly only going downhill. And when you hear one knocking all the time, it is sure sign something is wrong under the hood
